Hi!
Oops, I've fallen a little behind with the August nail art challenge! I'm playing catch-up by merging two themes into one manicure :)
This one is day 17: french tip and day 20: saran wrap! This post is going to be really quick as this was a really simple design that took about 20 minutes.

Now for the saran wrap part:
I've never had success with the saran wrap technique, and this was no exception. It just looks kind of dirty... anybody have any tips?
Thanks for reading!

The french tips are so cute with that polish you used! Maybe the saran wrap is to do with the colours you used? You could try a bright colour with white or something, or different shades of one colour? :) But to be honest, it turns out messy with me too a lot :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, I always see these pretty saran wrap manicures with foil polishes so I try those, but I should probably start out more simply with some creme polishes :)
DeleteThe french mani is very pretty and I love the pastel shades. With the saran wrap technique I had my problems too. I usually put polish on the wrap and I tap it on my nails, I avoid to put to much on it to achieve that interesting spotted effect.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I think my part of my problem was that I used too much polish on the saran wrap, thanks for the advice! :)
Delete(I'm Dutch, shall try to translate well what I mean) - I have different tecnique, maybe you van try. Wrinkle the foil and put some polish on the foil and first dap the excess nailpolish on a piece of paper before putting it on your nails very lightly.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, I love both of your mani's! Very cute!
Your English is perfect! Dabbing the excess polish on a piece of paper probably would have helped a lot, haha :) Thank you!
DeleteI still like your french tips mani! And I haven't tried this technique before. I think I'll fail too. Hihi.
ReplyDelete(^^,)
Thank you!! Haha, you might as well try -- you never know :D
