Hi!
First, sorry for the lack of posts last week! I've been so busy dealing with what I'm doing this summer -- interviews for being a volunteer camp counselor, and I'm applying to the very prestigious Stanford Youth Orchestra so I ended up practicing about double the amount of flute I'd been planning on practicing. At least the weather's been nice!
I did have time to do one manicure last week, but I'm feeling kind of "ehh" about it...

Something about it just didn't "work". I think it might be the colors. Walking on Sunshine (the yellow polish) is a pretty color by itself, but I think this design might have looked better with a mint green or pastel blue instead!

Oh well. As Sammy of the Nailasaurus says, "done is better than perfect"!
What do you guys think, nail fail or just a little odd?

Ooh I hope you get into the Orchestra! It sounds really exciting :) I like this design, definitely not a fail! I think you always do such great floral designs and this one is no different, honestly :) The yellow colour also looks amazing!

DeleteYes, good luck with the orchestra! I know what you mean about not being pleased with a mani... I didn't post for two weeks because I wasn't pleased with the nail art I'd done, but I too am trying to follow Sammy's mantra :) That said, I think this mani is cute and I happened to choose yellow today too! Must be this warm weather!
