Hi!
It's so amazing to be able to do my nails again. I didn't even realize how much I missed it until I started painting my nails this morning! It's weird, but I feel so much happier today than I have for most of this month. Although that might be because today was in the 70s (Fahrenheit), sunny, and I'm on spring break. Either way, it's good to be back!
For my return to the blog I wanted to do something really clean and elegant but also kinda cheerful. Nude florals were the obvious choice!
I had to go through a couple of nail fails (I didn't even take pictures, they were THAT bad) before settling on this design...

Porchester Square is my favorite nude polish. The pink-toned gray color goes really well with my skin (well, better than most nudes, haha) and it gives full coverage in one coat!

Somewhat unrelated, but our family got our DSLR camera back from the repair shop (do my photos look better?) and I'm trying to learn how to use it not in "auto" mode! I decided that taking photos of bottles of nail polish would be a great way to familiarize myself with the menu options on my camera. If you want to see the photos you can go to
this tumblr I started :)
Lastly, thanks so much to all the people who guest posted for me -- I loved all of the guest posts! I hope you guys did too!
Thanks for reading!
